English group Take That is set to take their This Life On Tour to Singapore later this year. The trio of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will first tour across Australia and New Zealand before heading to The Star Theatre on October 28th, 2024. Formed as a five-piece in 1989, Take That are famous for their spectacular live shows and hold the record for the most performances at London’s The O2 with 34 headline shows. Their 2011 Progress tour set box office records by selling over 1 million tickets in less than 24 hours, ranking third worldwide on Billboard’s ‘Top 25 Tours’ list. In 2019, they celebrated their 30th anniversary with the sold-out 38-date Odyssey tour, playing to 29 arenas and 9 stadiums, selling over 650,000 tickets.
Take That’s ninth studio album, This Life, released last year, became the UK’s biggest-selling album of 2023, outselling the entire Top 25 combined. Recorded mainly in Nashville and New York, the album highlights Gary, Mark, and Howard’s vocals with beautiful melodies and harmonies. The lead single ‘Windows’ marks their first original song in over five years, signaling a new era of creativity and energy for the band.
In 2018, they celebrated their 30th anniversary with the greatest hits album Odyssey, featuring re-imagined versions of their biggest tracks. The album topped the charts and was followed by a successful UK and European tour in 2019.
